Reach the aviation industry every morning

When you need daily aviation news, and welcome in-depth aviation stories and informed perspective, you need Aero-News. Around the world, aviation people in all facets of the industry — pilots, mechanics, engineers, executives, students — are reading Aero-News, as their “first read each morning.”

One of our recent survey’s revelations: 54% of our respondents own at least part of at least one aircraft!

Aero-News reaches more aviators in a day, than most aviation publications reach in a month. The news, furthermore, is up-to-date — not a few days, or a few weeks old. The aviation industry, pilots, and players rely on daily aviation news, and Aero-News is where they find it. Survey: just 12% of our readers are under 19, or over 65.

  • 54%own at least part of at least one aircraft
  • 70%read Aero-News every day
  • 6%will buy an aircraft within the next 12 months
  • 12%of readers are under 19, or over 65

ANN Aero-Cast Audio Programming Sponsorship

As you may have read in recent Aero-News coverage; the Aero-News Network has added a series of DAILY audio news programs to its immensely popular line-up of RealTime aviation online news programs.

At least THREE times a day, in one short and two long-form programs, Aero-News offers up a healthy serving of NEWS, but adding a phenomenal depth to our programming through the added nuance of audio.

Custom Sponsorships

Perhaps you’re the sponsor who needs something specially-tailored: you need to run an informative text spot, in addition to your regular banner, during your industry-specific trade show. Perhaps there’s a general interest in some particular product of yours, and you need to augment your Skyscraper with a product-specific Level 1 banner. How about a combination of audio and online sponsorships? We’ll do what it takes.

On-Scene Special Events Sponsorship

If you’d like to join the elite group of sponsors whose message is displayed forever in a particular event’s coverage (e.g., our archived Oshkosh collection), we have options for you, as well.

This can be particularly effective, if you are targeting a niche in your more-general market.

Need Artistic Assistance?

Aero-News can help tailor your message’s message: graphics, text, and design — we can do that with you, or for you. We want your ad to work!

FREE ANN News Ticker for YOUR Web Site!

If your own website needs something new every day, we can provide it — and it’s free. That nifty news ticker we run at the top of Aero-News, every day — the one with the headlines — can be on your website.

We’ll send you the necessary code; you insert it. That’s all! We automatically update it every day, as we publish. (No additional work for your webmaster!) When a visitor to your site sees a headline that’s interesting to him, he clicks on it, and is transported to Aero-News, to read the story. When he’s through with the story and closes the ANN window, he’s right back at your site!

Demographics 101

Who reads Aero-News

ANN’s own reader survey figures, carried over unchanged.

It’s classic college marketing… define your target market, and present yourself to it.

Identifying your customers by their verifiable traits and qualifications is helpful. We like to be helpful. Keeping in mind that all specialty-interest advertising is (due to the economic constraints of the required polling) technically unscientific, we do know, as well, that people use such unscientific data.

Let’s see if we can help identify who reads Aero-News, in categories useful to our specialty advertisers. If you’re selling airplanes, do you really care, for instance, what sex your customer is? While we all know that, statistically, very few women are pilots, we also know they buy airplanes.

Are under 19, or over 6512%

Aero-News readers, by definition, are computer users. From that we can make an educated guess, and assign them (mostly) to the higher family-income groups. (Among computer users, Aero-News readers are also, obviously, internet users. Knowing this further defines their income and education demographics.)

Aero-News readers could be a bunch of little kids, of course. Everybody knows kids get on the internet all the time; and everybody knows kids don’t buy airplanes. That’s why we ask our readers how old they are. They’re adults (virtually none are under 18); but very few are retired (just 8%). They’re grown-up income-earners, in other words.

RateCard Data — 2012

Legal/Contract Information

The terms below are the ones still published on aero-news.net. The rate card they belong to is dated 2012 — 14 years old as of this capture.

Acceptance and approval

  1. All advertising is subject to publisher approval. The publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertising for any reason at any time.
  2. No conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on the contract order or copy instructions which conflict with the publisher’s policies will be binding on the publisher.
  3. Acceptance of advertising for any product or service is subject to investigation of the product or service, and of the claims made for it upon its package, labels, and accompanying material, and in the advertisement submitted for publication.
  4. Orders and schedules are accepted for the advertising of a specific product, or line of products only. These orders/schedules may not be diverted to other products or to subsidiary companies without publisher consent.
  5. The publisher reserves the right to limit the size of space to be occupied by an advertisement.

Payment terms

  1. The publisher reserves the right to hold the advertiser/agency jointly and severally liable for such moneys as are due & payable to publisher.
  2. First time advertisers must prepay each ad until credit is established.
  3. Invoices are due upon receipt at the offices of Aero-News Network in Jacksonville, FL. If payment is not received within thirty days of invoice date, a delinquency charge at the rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance will be assessed. Should collection efforts on the part of publisher become necessary, advertiser/agency will be responsible for all court costs, collections costs, and attorney’s fees incurred in the collection of said balance. Advertisers/agencies with outstanding balances over 30 days will not be permitted to run space and are subject to cancellation of contract and short-rate adjustment at publisher’s discretion. Any outstanding balance, that is more than 60 days overdue, may lose all discounts and/or special ad rates and can be billed at the full, undisounted rate, at the discretion of the Publisher.Reproduced verbatim: the live page spells it “undisounted”, and names Jacksonville, FL while the ANN contact block gives an Orange Park, FL address.

Liability and jurisdiction

  1. The publisher’s liability is limited only to the direct cost of the advertisement and not for indirect or subsequent damages due to loss of business or profit.
  2. All advertisements are accepted and published by the publisher upon the representation that the advertiser/agency is authorized to publish the entire contents and subject matter thereof. It is understood that the advertiser/agency will indemnify and save the publisher harmless from or against any loss or expense arising out of publication of such advertisements, including, without limitation, those resulting from claims of suits of libel, violation of rights of privacy, plagiarism, and copyright infringement. It is further understood that acceptance and publication of an advertisement by publisher is not in any way an endorsement of the product(s) or service(s) contained therein.
  3. Any and all litigation involving publisher will be subject to the parameters and covenants of the laws of Florida. Any such matter will be litigated under the jurisdiction of the court system in Duval County, Florida.
  4. Publisher is not liable for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery in the event of Act of God, action by any governmental or quasi~governmental entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes whether legal or illegal, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, or any condition beyond the control of publisher affecting production or delivery in any manner.Reproduced verbatim: the live page prints a tilde in “quasi~governmental”.
  5. The publisher assumes no liability if it becomes necessary to omit an advertisement, for errors in the index to advertisers, or for errors or omissions in any advertising.

Copy, scheduling and placement

  1. Contracts or orders must be bona fide and must specify a definite schedule of insertions, issues, and sizes of space.
  2. When change of copy is not received by the closing date, copy run in previous session will be inserted. The publisher assumes no liability for copy not received by the published deadline date.
  3. The word “advertisement” will be placed with copy, which in the publisher’s opinion, resembles editorial matter. Publisher reserves the right to insert the word “advertisement” above or below any copy.
  4. The publisher reserves the right to give better position than specified in the order, at no increase in rate.

Rates and rate protection

  1. All advertising orders accepted subject to the terms and provisions of the current rate card. Orders are accepted subject to change in rates upon notice from the publisher. However, contracts may be canceled at the time a change in rates becomes elective without incurring a short-rate adjustment, provided the contract rate has been earned up to the date of cancellation.
  2. The advertiser will be credited in accordance with the lowest rate earned by exceeding the number of insertions or amount of space called for in the contract.
  3. Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice.
  4. “Till forbid” or “TFN” orders do not hold rate.
  5. An order holds a rate for space and issues it specifies.
  6. The publisher reserves the right to make an additional charge for advertisements containing difficult composition.

What the source pages did not carry

Everything above was taken from five pages on aero-news.net on August 11, 2026. These are the gaps and contradictions found while doing it — reproduced rather than quietly tidied away, because each one is a decision for ANN.

  • Our Sponsors (main.sponsors). The page renders its navigation, the heading “Our Sponsors” and nothing else. No sponsor names, logos or links were present in the captured text, so no sponsor list could be carried over.
  • Learn more about our Sponsorship Levels. Every level ends in a “Show Me!” link whose target was not captured. No price, rate, term length or currency figure appears anywhere in the five captured pages, so all sponsorship levels here are format-and-size only.
  • Demographics 101 and Legal/Contract Information. Both pages print the address as “[email protected]” (Cloudflare obfuscation), so the live address could not be read. Substituted with CONTACT.email from brand.ts.
  • Demographics 101. The same page states both “29% … say they are building an aircraft” and “Nearly one out of eight (12%) say they will be building an aircraft within a year.” Both figures are reproduced as printed; the source does not reconcile them.
  • Advertise On ANN! vs Demographics 101. The Advertise page says “just 12% of our readers are under 19, or over 65”, while Demographics 101 says readers are “adults (virtually none are under 18)” with “just 8%” retired. Both are reproduced as printed; the source does not reconcile them.
  • All five pages. The captured “More News” teasers below the article body are cut off mid-sentence with “>[...]”. They are unrelated to advertising and were not carried over.
